FUNERAL SERVICE will be 2:00 pm, Saturday, April 28th at the First United Methodist Church of Paducah with Pastor
Lee Crouch officiating. Interment will follow in the Paducah Garden of Memories Cemetery
Sharon was born Feb 14, 1962 in San Antonio, TX. to Edgar and Barbara Hickman.
She graduated Paducah High School with the class of 1980 and continued her education with a year of college.
Shortly after her schooling she met and married the love of her life Larry Joe Abbot. Together they made their home
in Vernon and raised their family. Sharon was a member of the First United Methodist Church and a dedicated wife
and mother. Her life was centered around her home and family. She loved to take her children to exciting and unique places to have fun and help them live, love and grow. She was a good friend to many, and enjoyed meeting new people and relished in the fellowship and laughter that new friends can bring.
Sharon is preceded in death by her father Edgar Hickman.
She is survived by Larry Abbot, her husband of 26 years
4 sons, Eric, Landon, Chad & Brad Abbot
1 daughter, Sheridan Abbott, all of Vernon
Her mother, Barbara Hickman of Paducah
1 brother, Larry Hickman of Brownfield
and 3 grandchildren.
