Evelyn Margaret Patton Adamson, 90, of Hampton, passed away on June 1, 2011. Mrs. Adamson graduated from Fulton High School. She is preceded in death by her parents, Emory S. Patton, Sr and Carrie Lee Helms Patton; her two brothers, Edward Patton and Emory Patton, Jr.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 70 years, Joe Adamson; daughters, Sandra Howard of Milner, Georgia, JoAn and Dick Steele of Fayetteville and Brenda and James Allen of Fayetteville; son, Joey Adamson of Jonesboro; ten grandchildren; 19 greatgrandchildren; two great-greatgrandchildren; brother, Raymond and Emily Patton of Chatsworth, Georgia; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service held June 4 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville. Burial at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens, Forest Park.
