She was born in Montgomery County and was a longtime resident of Savannah. She was a member of St. Luke's United Methodist Church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She was a retired nurse who had worked in the offices of Dr. Osbourne, Dr. Edwards, Dr. Doolam and Dr. Burgstiner.
SURVIVORS: her husband, Anthony Lindsey Adams Jr. of Savannah; a son, Anthony Drexel Adams of Richmond Hill; a daughter, Joyce Adams Weinzettel of Atlanta; a brother, Clifford Dixon of Vidalia; a sister, Katie Morris of Vidalia; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
