Married George W. Hitchcock in November 1888. A second daughter, Ethel M. Hitchcock, was born in 1891 in Kansas. Early records indicate that Ethel was a stenographer and she apparently married, because nothing else is currently known about her.

Besides the siblings listed below, Martha had three other siblings whose burial locations are not currently known:
1. A brother-stillborn in 1856 in Kentucky
2. Mary Parthena Munford: California Death Index, 1940-1997 Name: Mary Parthina Mcgrath: Death, Date: 17 Apr 1955, Place: Los Angeles, California, USA, Birth Date: 19 Dec 1869 Birthplace: Missouri Father's Name: Mumford, Mother's Name: Craddick
3. Rose Emma (Dolly) Munford was put into an orphanage after the death of her mother and the marriage of older sister, Betty. William was not able to take care of the 3 remaining daughters at home. He died not too long after that, and there is no mention of what became of Rose in the family history. Her estimated death in 1888 is simply a guess.

The above information was provided by Martha's great grandniece, Holly F.
