TUPELO – Clara Mae Lee Clark, 79, died Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2013, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo. She was born Nov. 1, 1933, in Sherman to Gertrude Gladney Edwards and Rolland Lee. She was a member of Blackland M.B. Church. She married to Nathaniel "Son" Clark Sr. on Sept. 15, 1951.

Service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 19, at Palmetto CME Church in Tupelo with the Rev. Earlie Eddie officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Agnew & Sons Funeral Home of Verona is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors include nine sons, Richard (Carrie) Clark of Memphis, Billy Clark and Nathaniel Clark Jr. of Palmetto, Dennis (Ressia) Clark of Shannon, Ricky (Rubye) Clark of Milwaukee, Wis., David (Vivian) Clark of Collierville, Tenn., Louis (Carla) Clark of New Jersey, Danny Clark of Oklahoma; six daughters, Linda (Robert) Johnson of New Albany, Bettie (John) Dunn of Tupelo, Delois (Carl) Holden of Berkley. Ill., Debra Clark of Tupelo, Dorothy Clark-Garmon of Verona and Traci Clark of Tupelo; 31 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; one sister, Flossie (O.D.) Pounds; two stepsisters, Francis Lipsey and Leola Shawvers; one brother, Curtis Lee; three stepbrothers, Henry (Christine) Blanchard, Johnny B. Shawvers and Tom (Gail) Blanchard; her stepmother, Adella Lee of Sherman; and several special cousins, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Christopher Clark; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. today at the funeral home.
