REMAINS ARRIVE
--------------
The remains of the late William H. Drill, who passed away at Palm Springs, Calif., January 6, arrived here, Friday morning, and funeral services were conducted at the German Lutheran church in Brighton, township, Monday afternoon, following brief obsequies at the home of deceased's father, William Drill, Sr., in that township.
Interment was made in the Lutheran cemetery near the church.
Mr. Drill was past 30 years of age, having been born September 2, 1890, in Brighton. In 1916 he was married to Miss Ottilie Bieraugel, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bieraugel, now residing on North German street, who with one daughter, Irene, survives him.
Deceased also leaves his aged father, three brothers and five sisters to mourn his demise.
Some three years ago, Mr. Mrs. Bieraugel went West in the hope that a change of climate would benefit the former's health, he being afflicted with asthma. Later tuberculosis set in, followed by pneumonia, which caused his death. Shortly before his fatal illness, Mr. Drill had expressed the desire to remove with his family to the state of Washington from Palm Springs, where they had resided after leaving Colorado, following their location in the West.
