Joseph Reynolds, one of the early settlers of Larimer county, died suddenly at his home at Westlake, 50 miles northwest of Fort Collins, aged 65 years. Mr. Reynolds was a native of Illinois. He came to Fort Collins in 1879 and for the past 15 years has lived at Westlake. The funeral was held on Tuesday at the late home of the deceased and the burial took place at the Sloan cemetery, nine miles west of Livermore. Mr. Reynolds leaves a wife and a married son and a large number of friends to mourn his death.
