Jimmy Arthur Wilson, 57, of McAlester, died Monday, Dec. 12, 2005, in McAlester. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Thursday at the North Town Church of Christ with Bill Banks officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Chaney-Harkins Funeral Home of McAlester. Born July 18, 1948, in Downey, Calif., he was the son of Arthur Wilson and Billie Jean (Lackey). He graduated from Coalgate High School in 1967 and from Eastern Oklahoma State College. He served in the U.S. Air Force for more than six years. He married Teresa Hillhouse May 10, 1968, in Ada. He was a member of the Church of Christ. He served as the youth minister for the Crowder Church of Christ for seven years. His hobbies included metal detecting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Jean Ward.
