Per her obituary in the Sacramento Bee (2-19-1968), Lizzie was reported to be the oldest surviving member of the Maidu Indian Tribe and a lifelong resident of the Auburn area. Survived by her grandchildren Edward Enos, Gloria Bradley, Anna Louise Wells, and Nina Wallace; as well as eleven great-grandchildren and two g-g-grandchildren.
