Claudette Hobbs Arms, 83, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, wife of the late Edward Charles Arms, died Monday, May 26, 2014.
Mrs. Arms was born October 23, 1930 in Flora, Alabama, along with her sisters Louise and Frankie Lou.
She worked with Manhattan Shirt Company for 26 years and then worked with Kaleidoscope Afterschool Program with the Charleston County School District. She was a faithful member of Hibben United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for 35 years. She loved planting her plants, and enjoyed cooking and sewing.
She was survived by two sons, Randy Arms and his wife, Cotty of Columbia, SC, and Kevin Arms and his fiancee, Tammy of Mount Pleasant, SC; five grandchildren, Lisa Arms, Katie Arms, Dillon Arms, Ryan Arms, Jennifer Arms.
She was preceded in death by her son, Edward Charles Arms, Jr.
Funeral services will were Wednesday, May 28, 2014, in the J. HENRY STUHR INC., MOUNT PLEASANT CHAPEL. Burial followed in St. Paul's Lutheran Church Cemetery.
