Born [January 30th, 1935] in Belmont, he was the son of the late Cecil and Reta (Smith) Dickie.
Gerald spent most of his life in Ontario driving tractor trailers for Neilson/Cadbury.
He is survived by his sister, Marjorie McCabe, Moncton; brothers, Ken (Nora), Bible Hill, Victor (Betty), Brookfield; several nephews and a niece.
He was predeceased by his brother, Foster.
A Memorial Service was held June 1st at Colchester Community Funeral Home, 512 Willow St., Truro, N.S. with Rev. Larry Harrison officiating.
Interment in Onslow Island Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Nova Scotia.
