From 'IMAGES OF AMERICA CEMETERIES OF THE EASTERRN SIERRA" ... John and Luna Bean came to Inyo County from New Creek, West VA where John served as the Mayor. Luna died in 1909. John, his five children, and his mother continued living together in Keeler. John was a Mason, and Lunda had been member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a Masonic auxiliary group for women and men. Luna died of TB. Her mother's maiden name was Graves and her father was born in New York. Courtesy of Marlene Cierniak.
