Grube, Robert Harry, of San Clemente, age 87, passed away peacefully on November 27th, 2012. He was born in Huntington Park, California on September 15th, 1925. He was the son of Robert and Dorothy Grube. He studied Mechanical Engineering at Stanford, Caltech and UCLA graduating from Caltech in 1946. He was in the Navy V12 Program while at Caltech. He worked as a Chief Scientist in the Aerospace Industry for Aerojet and Xerox. Bob lived in Pasadena, CA for fifty years and enjoyed his vacation home in San Clemente since 1966, retiring here in 1995 and moving to the San Clemente Villas in 2008 with his beloved wife Margo. He loved the beach and bodysurfing. He was also an accomplished jazz pianist playing at home and with local musicians. He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Margo; son, Robert Grube (Denise); daughters, Cynthia Morrisey (Mark) and Victoria Elliott (Jim); son, John Grube; grandchildren, Robert, Jayme, Bridget, Lisa, Arlo and Adam; great grandchildren, Lynsie and Ashlyn; and sister, Margaret McConkey (Paul). Funeral service will be held at St. Andrew's By-the-Sea outdoor chapel in San Clemente on December 1st, 2012 at 2:00 PM. Lesneski Mortuary
