Edgar James Arms III, age 57 of Mt. Pleasant passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2012 at his home.
Burial in Hunter Cemetery.
The Maury County native was the son of the late Edgar James Arms, Jr. and Elizabeth Broome Arms and the husband of the late Lydia M. Arms. He was a 1974 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, where he played football and basketball. Edgar was a member of the Young Gentlemen's Club and Vocational Industrial Club of America. He was employed at NHC Healthcare for 34 years.
Edgar was preceded in death in addition to his parents and beloved wife by two brothers, Mitchell Arms and Charlie Gaylon Arms.
He leaves to cherish his memory his children; Latoni Arms (Stacey Cathey), Natisha Arms, LaQuay Arms (Colton Foster) all of Mt. Pleasant, Tiffany (Mark) Humphrey of Nashville and Adavin James (Shonda Foster); sisters, Warnella (George) Bullock, Lena Arms, Marylu (Terry) Bates all of Mt. Pleasant and Johnie Peyton of Lebanon; brothers, Waymon Arms, Eric (Georgia) Arms, and Milton Knowles all of Mt. Pleasant. A host of nieces, nephews and mother-in-law, Mrs. Mattie James.
