CARVIN BEARD JR. RITES SET MONDAY
Carvin Beard JR was born Nov. 22, 1952 to Carvin Sr. and Mary Beard in Idabel, Okla.
He attended Richland Elementary School in Richland, Oklahoma and later attended Booker T. Washington west Idabel for a time. Then he attended Idabel Gray High School where he graduated.
After graduating from school, he entered the United States Army where he served for four years.
Later he met and married the love of his heart, Wanda, and to this union one child was born.
He leaves to cherish his memories, Wanda Beard and Michael of the home; one grandson, Lamarion Beard of the home; three sisters, Lessie (William), Charlesetta (James), and Rosie (Albert), all of Idabel; two brothers, Elfunzo (Brenda)of Idabel, and Douglas Beard of Hollins; a special nephew, Kacey Beard of Idabel; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunt and uncle, cousins and friends.
Services are set for 2 PM Monday, April 26, at Maple Springs Baptist Church with Pastor Jimmie Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Maple Springs Cemetery.
