Mrs. J.B. Hale Dies At Hospital

Funeral services for Mrs. J.B. Hale, 71, will be at 2pm tomorrow at Keightley Funeral Home.

Officiating will be her pastor, the Rev. J.H. Maddox of Second Baptist Church, assisted by the Rev. L.L. Spurlin. Burial will be Bainbridge Cemetery.

Mrs. Hale, of 209 S. McPherson Ave., died of a heart attack at 2:15am today at Jennie Stuart Hospital after a week's illness.

Mrs. Hale and her husband had operated a grocery for many years in the Bainbridge community. She was the daughter of the late Jeff and Sally Harris Ladd.

Surviving are her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Fritz, Marion; Mrs. Pauline Rogers, of the city; and Mrs. Verna Woosley, of the county; a son, Clyde Hale, of the county; two brothers, W.D. and Otis Ladd both od the city; a sister, Mrs. Vesta Wallace, of the city, and two grandchildren.
