CHARLES T. ALLEY
Private funeral service was
conducted today for Charles T.
Alley of Alexandria RD, formerly
of Spruce Creek, who died
unexpectedly at his home Friday,
Oct. 15, at 3:30 p.m.
He was born April 11, 1893
at Bellwood, the son of Samuel
C. and Margaret (McHune) Alley.
He was married Dec. 16, 1922
at Arch Springs, to Alma Bonsell,
and had been a resident of Alexandria
RD for the past 13 years.
He is survived by his wife, a
son Wayne, of Mill Hall, three
grandchildren and one great
grandchild.
He was of the Protestant faith,
a veteran of World War I, and a
member of American Legion Post
1754, Huntingdon.
He was a retired employe of
the Huntingdon State Correctional
Institution.
Service, in charge of the Cox
Funeral Home, Warriors Mark,
was conducted by the Rev. John
Dean. Interment was made in
the Franklinville Cemetery.
There was no public visitation.
