Bennett Arterberry may be buried at this cemetery near or beside the grave of his first wife. He married first to Cordelia Caroline Hudson during early 1850s in Jackson Co., TN and second to Mrs. Susan (Messer) Goodwin on 2 May 1886 in Lebanon, Indian Territory (OK). Susan's first husband William Goodwin is buried at this cemetery. A descendant of William and Susan Goodwin told me that she suspects that Bennett was buried here, too. Another possible burial location for him would be the Lebanon Cemetery.
He served for both the Confederacy and the Union during the Civil War, first in Winston's TN Light Artillery Co. and second in Co. H, 65th IL Infantry.
