GRANTS PASS, Ore. -- Graveside service for Franklin "Wayne" Bennett, 84, Grants Pass, Ore., will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Bennett died Monday, Aug.16, 2004, in Grants Pass.
Arrangements are by Robbins Funeral Home.
He was born April 14, 1920, in Madill to Charles Alex and Bertha Lucille Tilley Bennett. He moved to Cave Junction in 1949 and to Grants Pass in 1977. He was a mill worker at Medply in Central Point. He married Estelle Mae Shawn in 1961 at Woodville, Calif.
He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, of the home; five sons: Maurice Reese, White City, Ore.; and Dorman Cox, Brice Reese, Charles R. Reese and Dwight Bennett, all of Grants Pass; two daughters: LaNita Bennett, Cave Junction, Ore.; and Julie Bennett-Hashey, Eugene, Ore.; three sisters: Edna Durham, Yukon; Mildred Stinnett, Porterville, Calif.; and Norma Brooks, Oklahoma; three brothers: Wade Bennett, Fletcher; and Arthur Bennett and Lynn Bennett, both of Oklahoma City; 19 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
