Mr. Callaway was a carpenter by trade. He was the son of John H. Callaway (Texas) and Bobbie Broyles (Alabama). He was found at his home in Los Angeles and an investigation determined the cause of death as suffocation by inhalation of illuminating gas/suicide. He was cremated at the county crematory through County General Hospital on 9/25/1953.
