Mrs. Catherine Boyle died at the home of her brother, Edward McCall, July 5. Aged 60 years. Catherine McCall was born in Ireland in 1840. She came to America in 1866 but returned to Ireland in 1871. Two years later she again came to America and located in Rhode Island. In 1876 she came to Kansas and remained here until death called her hence. She was united in marriage to Patrick Boyle October 17, 1882. They made their home east of this city in Crawford county until July 1898, when Mr. Boyle died. The remains were taken to Greenbush Friday for burial. By the provisions of a will made before Mr. Boyle's death all her property goes to the church and charitable institutions, distributed as follows: $600 for a new Catholic church at Greenbush, $200 to Mercy Hospital at Ft. Scott, $200 to Sisters of Charity at Kansas City, Kansas, $200 to Sisters of Loretto, $100 for the Passionist Fathers for Masses and $50 to the Greenbush church for the same purpose.
