The Rev. Cecil H. Sales Sr., 97, of Kimbeto, died Tuesday, Jan. 19, 2010, in Kimbeto. He was born Oct. 15, 1912, in Kimbeto.
He was employed by American Tank in Farmington for 18 years. He also pastored a church in Kimbeto.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Rose Miller Charley; and grandchildren, Raffael Sales and Octavia Sales.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Lillie Tsosie Sales; daughters, Georgia Sales, Gladys (Larry C.) Tsosie and Georgette (Shawn) Mike; sons, Leonard (Nora Miller), Raymond (Mae), Cecil Jr. (Caroline), Paul (Angelita) and Manuel (Shirley); 37 grandchildren; and by 35 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 22, at the Brethren in Christ Mission in Otis, with the Rev. Mike Lee of Victory in Christ Ministry officiating.
Interment will be at the family plot in Kimbeto.
