John Hen ry Ammann, 80. a retired farmer, died at the Kirby Hospital In Monticello at 1:15 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Ammann was born May 10, 1888, in Farmer City, a son of John and Margaret Duvall Ammann.

He was married to Anna Roos Feb. 24, 1912, In Decatur.

Surviving are his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Irlene Honselman, Monticello; Mrs. Esther Floyd, DeLand; a grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.

He was a member of the Methodist Church, the Methodist Men's Club and the Odd Fellows. ,
