OBITUARY
W.A. Alexander, one of the early settlers of Garvin, died in Dale sanitarium at Texas, October 8, 1909 where he was taken for treatment following an attack of pneumonia. He leaves a wife and three children.
The funeral was held Sunday afternoon and interment followed in Wheelock cemetery, three and one half miles west of Garvin. The W.O.W., of which Mr. Alexander was a member attended the funeral in a body.
Deceased was a respected citizen and had a large circle of friends. To the bereaved the community extends heart-felt sympathy.
