Family and friends were invited to her visitation on Monday, April 25, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Ramsey Funeral Home, 1175 Robinson Street Oroville. Her funeral service began at 1.00 p.m. A private burial service was held later at Glenbrook Cemetery in Cobb, California.
Arrangements were by Oroville Funeral Home. 530-533-0323.
Juanita and Andy Anderson were members of the California State Old Time Fiddlers Association at District I, Oroville. Andy was Commander of the Submarine USS Finback during World War Two. Juanita use to bring my favorite cake (Pineapple upside down cake) to the fiddler jams at Oroville. Juanita and Andy were loved by all who knew them. I remember the first time the Andersons heard me play fiddle at Oroville, Juanita asked from the audience if I could play, Carroll County Blues. I often played it for them.
