Going Home celebration for Charlie David Bell, 95, Enid, will be Friday, July 19, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. in Philadelphia Seventh Day Adventist Church . Committal prayers and interment will be in Dover Cemetery under the kind guidance of the Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Charlie was born on August 27, 1917 in Dover, Oklahoma, the son of Roy Edgar and Dottie Lenora Lampkin Bell, and passed away peacefully on July 11, 2013 at his residence. He was raised and educated in Dover, graduating from Dover High School with the class of 1934. Charlie worked for the CCC from 1934 to 1937 and moved to Enid in 1940, He married Dorothy Rinehart in Kingfisher. She passed in 1992. Charlie worked at a garage, then for a COOP Feedmill, then worked for Zales Jewelry, and then worked for Liberty Federal for 19 years. Charlie mowed lawns in the Enid area for the last 35 years. Charlie was preceded in passing by his wife and two sons.
