Mamie Gordo, 64, of Torreon, died Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at UNM Hospital in Albuquerque. She was born May 5, 1945, in Sweetwater, Ariz.
She worked for Heritage for six years.
She like the Casino, playing bingo, solving puzzles and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her father, Boyd Denet Tsosie; and her daughter, Daulphine Johnson.
She is survived by her husband, Andrew Gordo Sr.; daughters, Arlene Scharff, Brenda Denetsosie, Darrine Tsosie, Joline Gordo, Perfina Gordo, Orphelia Gordo and Maria Gordo; sons, Calvin Denet Tsosie, Anders Gordo, Andre Gordo, Adrian Gordo and Zachary Gordo; stepmother, Doris Tsosie; brother Freddie Denet Tsosie; sisters Minnie Nez and Betty Lameman; 43 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 7, at the Cuba Baptist Church in Cuba. Vernon Hollett will officiate.
Interment will be at the Cuba Cemetery.
