Joseph Moore was originally buried in the Moore Indian Cemetery located approximately one mile northeast of Linn in Section 17, Township 5 South, Range 7 East. During the construction of Lake Texoma, his grave was moved to the Moore Burney Cemetery located in Section 13, Township 6 South, Range 6 East.
