THE DEATH OF WILLIAM P HORNEY
William P Horney, 72, for many years a Tippecanoe county farmer living near Kirkpatrick, died on Tuesday at his home in Altamont, Missouri, and the body is being brought here for burial. The funeral will be held at Clarks Hill Thursday morning at 10 o'clock; burial in the Horney cemetery near Kirkpatrick. Born in this county December 10, 1860, he continued to reside here until, 20 years ago when he moved with his family to Missouri. In addition to farming he was engaged in stock-buying and was widely known in this and adjoining counties. His widow, a son, Claude and three daughters, Maude, Blanche and Opal, all of Missouri survive; also a sister, Mrs John Bryant, of Bloomington, Indiana; and three brothers: Ed Horney of Montgomery county, O.P. Horney of this county; and Grant Horney of Colorado.
