WATERBURY — Mr. Ivan D. Aubin, 83, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully Monday, May 5, 2014 at Wolcott View Manor with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of the late Noella (Rehel) Aubin.

Ivan was born in Waterbury on Sept. 2, 1930, son of the late William and Lina (Page) Aubin. He served his country honorably in The U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a night supervisor for Uniroyal Chemical for more than 30 years until his retirement.

He leaves behind his sister, Blandine Clement and her husband Alphose, of Wolcott, and many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his brothers, William Jr., Robert, Roger and Richard Aubin and sisters Anita Gagnon and Matilda Persico.

Arrangements: Funeral will be held Thursday, 9 a.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, to Our Lady of Loreto Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial with full military honors will follow at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Watertown. Calling hour will be held Thursday from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
