Shirley May Pennington Behrens, of Marble Falls, Texas, and formerly of Harvard. She was born March 20, 1926 in Harvard, Illinois to Wilton Everett and Irma Helen Miller Pennington, and was an office manager in the meat packing industry. She passed away December 13, 2011 at the Granite Mesa Health Center. Survivors include son, Bradley J. Behrens and wife Kay of Burnet, TX; grandchildren, Timothy J. Behrens of Round Rock, TX, Lauren M. Behrens and Zachary W.D. Behrens of Round Rock, Jordan E. Rogers, Bailey K. Rogers, and Caleb J. Rogers of Burnet, TX; great-grandson, Braxton L. Ringstaff of Burnet; and sister Margaret Jean Crews of Eastman, Ga. She was preceded in death by husband, Carl J. Behrens, daughter Vickie Lynn Behrens, son, Steven Glenn Behrens, and parents, Wilton and Irma Pennington. Funeral December 19, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church, 1100 N. Division St., Harvard, IL with Rev. Jim Bell officiating. Interment- Big Foot Cemetery, Big Foot Illinois. Saunders McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W Sumner St. Harvard, Illinois.
