WILL BURY MRS. EWAN HERE
Remains of Former Resident on Way from Italy to This City.
Funeral services for Mrs. R. E. Ewan, formerly of this city, who died at the age of 70, at Stressa, Italy, October 11, will take place as soon as the body arrives here. Internment will be in Rock Creek Cemetery. Mrs. Ewan was a widow, her husband, who was pastor of the Mount Vernon Church, having been dead some years.
Upon the marriage of her daughter, who is now Mrs. Minnie Eustis, also a widow, Mrs. Ewan went abroad and resided for some time in Paris, later going to Switzerland, and a month ago to Stressa. She had suffered a good deal with rheumatism, but death was due to heart failure. She leaves another daughter, Mme Sabbag, of Paris. Mrs. Eustis is stopping at the Logan, Iowa circle.
