Funeral service is 1 pm Saturday, January 10, at Hindman Funeral Home in Kentucky. Interment will be in Carr Fork Cemetery in Kentucky. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Thursday, January 8, at Wilkinson Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 6-8 pm Friday at Hindman Funeral Home.
Mrs. Myers was born in Blacksburg, SC on June 9, 1931, a daughter of the late Jessie and Lily Mae Carroll Arrington. She had retired from the Knott County School System, and was a member of First Four Square Church. She was married to the late Henry Myers, who preceded her in death April 17, 1987.
Survivors include her daughters, Mrs. Sandra "Sandy" M. Crouch of Davidson, Mrs. Nita Johnson of Vipper, KY, Mrs. Patricia "Pat" Combs of Mint Hill, Mrs. Dottie Mullins of Litt-Car, KY and Mrs. Susie Elliot of Concord; son, Mr. Michael Myers of Concord; eight grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
