ARTHUR -- Alice Pearl Upstone, 64, of Arthur died at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday (Dec. 27, 1994) at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Shrader Funeral Home in Arthur. Burial will be in Arthur Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. today.
She was born Oct. 11, 1930, in Greensburg, Ky., the daughter of Vernon and Pearl Dowell Shuffett. She married Dean Upstone in 1955; he survives.
Also surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Sandra Smith of Arthur; two brothers, Robert Shuffett of Greensburg, Ky., and Vernon Shuffett Jr. of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; a sister, Mildred Gardner of Elizabethtown, Ky.; and a grandson.
She was preceded in death by a son and two brothers.
Mrs. Upstone was an employee of Schrock WCI in Arthur. She was a member of the Arthur Church of Christ.
