GRENADA - Frances Elizabeth Myers Wade, 85, formerly of Hollandale, retired registered nurse, died of heart failure Saturday at Grenada Lake Medical Center. Services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Mortimer Funeral Home in Greenville with burial in Hollandale City Cemetery.
She received her nursing degree from University of Virginia and had worked at Johns Hopkins University Medical Center. She was a World War II Army second lieutenant veteran and was stationed in Australia. She was a member of Hollandale First United Methodist Church.
She leaves a daughter, Sue Wade Baader of Trussville, Ala.; two sons, William 'Buddy' Wade III of Natchez and Robert Wade of Grenada; a sister, Evelyn Myers Besley of Mineral, Va., and four grandchildren.
