Wilhelmine Lohman Hartwig was the daughter of Herman Henry Lohmann and Wilhelmine Sieks and the wife of Carl Martin Hartwig.
Death notice from Milwaukee Journal, Dec. 19, 1953, p. 18:
"HARTWIG - Thursday, Dec. 17, Minnie Hartwig (nee Lohman) aged 89 years, residence 1515 S. 53rd st., beloved wife of Charles, dear mother of Charles, jr., Erwin, Arnold, Walter and Mrs. Elsie Walters. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 4 daughters-in-law, 1 son-in-law and other relatives. Services Monday, Dec. 21 at 1:30 p.m. at the St. Martini Evangelical Lutheran church, corner of S. 16th st and W. Orchard sts. Interment Good Hope. In state at the Lohman Funeral Home 804 S. Greenfield av. from 2 p.m Sunday until 11 a.m. Monday, thereafter at the church."
