Dies of Injuries
In Bankhead Crash
Hubert G. Dupree, 30, of 253 Mills St., NW, apartment 1, who was critically injured Feb 5 in an automobile wreck at 748 Bankhead Ave., NW, died at Grady Hospital at 9:15 p.m. Sunday.
His wife, Mrs. Ozella Dupree, 23, was killed instantly when the automobile in which the two were riding crashed through the corner of a garage and then skidded into a brick building, police said.
The Duprees' three small children, Diane, 4; Cynthia, 2 1/2, and Raymond, 5 months, had been left at home with a baby sitter on the night the accident took place.
Funeral services for Mr. Dupree will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Bethany Christian Church, Dallas, Ga. The Rev. Price Turner will officiate. Burial will be in Crest Lawn cemetery.
