W. F. Richardson Dies in Hospital Following Surgery

Services for Willard Fitzgerald Richardson, 87, retired farmer, were held Sunday at 1:30 p.m. in in Fletcher's Chapel Methodist Church. Burial was in Mount Nebo cemetery near Ackerman with the Fletcher Funeral Home of Cleveland in charge.

Mr. Richardson died Friday a 5:40 p.m. in the King's Daughters Hospital in Yazoo City following a short illness.

Born in Grenada county, Mr. Richardson went to Sunflower County in 1890 where he was a resident for 51 years and engaged in farming until his retirement. For the past 12 years he had made his home with his children. At the time of his death, he was residing with his son, Walter W. Richardson in Bentonia. He was a member of Fletcher's Chapel Methodist church.

Survivors include five sons, H. O. Richardson of Taylor, Ark., A. K. Richardson of Pasadena Texas, J. F. Richardson of Shuqulak, G. B. Richardson of Yazoo City and Walter W. Richardson of Bentonia and a daughter, Mrs. M. L. Washington of Yazoo City, 25 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
