Emma is my Great Grandmother through Linnie Estes Hughes. I do not know a lot about her or her death. Her parents are Leroy D Mitchel (1831-1870) and Elizabeth Cathorine McDerment (1841-1921). I have been unable to locate either graves, but most likely they are in Clear Springs Cemetery on Hwy 75 between Guntersville and the Blount Co Line, with other unknown brother John McDerment (Known burial), father Joeseph McDerment and mother Susan Hesterly McDerment. As a child, my grandmother never spoke of her, but we were always at decorations at Mt Vernon.
