Services for Mrs. Anna A. Barker, 93, who died at Baptist Hospital after several months illness will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Memphis Funeral Home, with burial in Mt. Vernon Gardens Cemetery.
Mrs. Barker had a busy and active life, enjoying her activities until quite recently. She had collected buttons practically all her life and had more than 20,000 at the time of her death. She had shown them at various fairs and hobby shows and had been the subject of an Eldon Roark Strilling column in The Press-Scimitar. She also enjoyed quilting and the quilts she made are prized possessions of relatives and friends.
She lived with a daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Martin, of 1782 Millbranch Road. She also leaves another daughter, Mrs. Adine Little of Indianapolis; a son, Wade Barker of Highland, Indiana; seven grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
