Robert Guy Waldron established his home in Dover, AR, later moved to Minco, Grady County, OK, the year of 1931-32. he lived there until his death. Della his wife lived at their home for several years until she got to where she could not care for her self. She went to live at the the Tuttles Rest home, Calvin visited around with family, soon he went to live with his mother in the same room this was about 1976.

"Mr. and Mrs. R.G. Waldron of Minco celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary Sunday Sept. 16 (1956). They were married at Dover, Ark., Sept. 16, 1906. They came to Minco in 1932 and have lived in and around Minco since that time. There were 10 children, two passed away, they were Mrs. Lola Martin and Wilma Sue Waldron. The other children are: Mrs. Velma Meyers, Alma, Ark; Mrs.
Irene Lumpkin, Healdton, Okla; Mrs. Grace Lumpkin, Klamath Falls, Oregon; Mrs. Vera Mangus, Minco, Edd Waldron, Wheatland, Okla; Clarence Waldron, Minco; Burl Waldron, Bethany, Okla; and Calvin of the home. Those from out of town were: Mr. and Mrs. Albert Waldron, Grandview, Mo; Mrs. Ethel Martin, Gerdell and Edna of Russellville, Ark; Mr. & Mrs. Bennie Sims, Tony, Brenda and Diane of Russellville, Ark; Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Singlton, William, Dee, Ardis, Orvil, Arlis, Roy, Anita, Gayle and Revada of Lookeba, Okla; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Brown, Allen, Larry and Debbie of Oklahoma City, Mr. and Mrs. L.B. Henderson of Wheatland, Okla., and Wanda McAdams of Wheatland. There were 23 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Afternoon callers were Mrs. Alice Hawkins, Mrs. Ella Lumpkin, Beryl Dean Lumpkin, Mrs. Isabelle Benda, Marshall Key, Mr. and Mrs. T.C. McDaniel, Rev. and Mrs. Clyde Ventris, Mr. and Mrs.
Alex Woodworth, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Woodworth, Mrs. Hattie Mozingo, Mrs.
Claude Maples. Mrs. Velma Meyers had charge of the guest book in with 72 registered.Mr. and Mrs. Waldron received several nice cards and gifts. A basket dinner was served at the noon hour to 60 members of the family and friends. It was the first time in 6 years the family had all been together."

NOTE: Obit of Robert Guy Waldron published in Minco Minstrel Sept, 1958 - "Funeral services were conducted for Robert Guy Waldron at 2 PM Thursday, Sept. 4 at the First Baptist Church with Bro. Bob Denny officiating. Music was rendered by a double quartet composed of Mrs. Bob Denny, Mrs. Troy McKelvey, Mrs. W.C. Verser, Mr and Mrs. Chester Halley, Wilbur Verser, Bob Clark, Marvin Woodworth with Miss Shirley Hamilton at the piano. Their selections were: "When The Roll is Called Up Yonder", "Shall We Gather At The River", and "Sweet Bye and Bye". Pallbearers were Howard O'Daniel, Ralph McDaniel, Tip Lauderdale, Dwight Bass, Ted Christner and Robert Wynns. Burial was in Evergreen Cemetery under the direction of Reynolds Funeral Home. Robert Guy Waldron was born September 28, 1885 at Rolo, Mo. and departed this life at his home in Minco, Okla. Sept 2, 1958 at the age of 72 years, 11 months and 2 days. He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Baptist Church. At the time of his passing he was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church, Dover, Arkansas.In early childhood his family moved to Dover, Arkansas where he lived until 1932.Then he moved to Minco, Oklahoma where he lived until his death. On Ept (Sept) 16, 1906 he married to Miss Jessie Della Vaughan and to this union ten children were born, six daughters and four sons. Two daughters: Lola Martin and Wilma Sue Waldron preceded him in death in 1950. He leaves to mourn his passing his wife, Mrs. Jessie Waldron, 4 daughters, Mrs. Velma Myers, Alma, Arkansas; Mrs. Irene Lumpkin, Healdton, Okla; Mrs. Grace Lumpkin, Klamath Falls, Oregon; Mrs. Vera Mangus, Minco, Okla; 4 sons, Ed, Wheatland; Clarence, Minco; Burl, Fresno, Calif; and Calvin of the home; 6 brothers, Oscar, Dover, Ark; John, Bill and Sam of Bakersfield, Calif; Fred and Albert of Kansas City, Mo., 23 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and other relatives and a host of friend.
