Lyla Joy Ford, 73, died Wednesday at a Las Vegas hospital.
She was born Dec. 12, 1928, was a decorator for a hotel/casino, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She is survived by her husband, Harlan; daughters, Carla Matthews, Janice Miller and Carol Rancati; sisters, Lou Jean Martin, all of Las Vegas, and Shirley Kohn of Germany; seven grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Palm Memorial Park-Northwest. Palm Mortuary-Jones handled the arrangements. The family requests memorial donations be made to Nathan Adelson Hospice.
