Alfred J. Holland was born on October 23rd, 1936 in Woodall. OK the son of James M. and Bessie (Pruitt) Holland. He attended school at Tahlequah High School and graduated, attending college at Tulsa. where he obtained his Masters Degree in Law.. He was enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until his honorable discharge. Alfred was an accomplished Lawyer and owned his own title company in Missouri. He loved people and served the needs of people for his entire working career. When he wasn't working, Alfred enjoyed time spent in the garden raising beautiful vegetables and used his own produce to bake the best lasagna you ever tasted. The simple things in life were of value to Alfred. The time spent chatting with family and friends over a cup of coffee were treasured moments. He adored his family, devoting hour to his son Jeff and his grandson, A.J. Alfred was a member of the Masonic Temple and was a 32 degree Mason, and attained the Shriner degree as well. He showed great devotion to anything he put his mind to do. He was loving, kind, and compassionate. Alfred passed from this life on April 30th, 2012 in Mountain Home, AR with his family by his side. He was 75 years old. Alfred will be greatly missed by his family for the love he gave them and his many friends will miss his smile and wonderful sense of humor.
