Funeral serviced will be held Thursday, August 16, 2001, at 11 a.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Glenn Claxton and Rev. James Wheeler officiating. Interment in Bellevue Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Bessie was proceeded in death by her son, Clarence Rickerson. Other family members include five sons, Eddie Rickerson, Appling, Charles Rickerson and William Rickerson, Martinez, Buford Rickerson, Harlem, Paul Rickerson, Lincolnton; two daughters, Blanche Lowe, Washington and Elizabeth Sizemore, Harlem; a brother, Stanley Jones, Augusta; 28 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
