CLIFTON PARK -- Beverly A. Roberts of Sherwood Forest in Clifton Park, died on Sunday, October 26, 1997 at the Ellis Hospital in Schenectady, after being stricken at her home. She was born in Claverack, NY and was the daughter of the late George and 'Betty' Hickey. She was a graduate of Hudson High School in Hudson, NY and Green Mountain College in VT. She was the wife of Rockwood T. Roberts, Jr. Mrs. Roberts was a housewife and homemaker and enjoyed arts and crafts. She had been a member of the Shenendehowa United Methodist Church in Clifton Park. Survivors in addition to her husband include, two sons, Rockwood T. Roberts, III of Reading, PA and Barry C. Roberts of Clifton Park; aunt of Thomas Roberts, Paul Roberts, Rhonda Chicko, Lisa Schaeffer and John Schaeffer. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 1997 at 6:00 p.m. in the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Rt. 9, Clifton Park, NY with the Rev. Russell Smith, Pastor of Shenendehowa United Methodist Church officiating. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Jonesville Cemetery, Clifton Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, Capital District Chapter, 324 Broadway, Albany, NY 12207-2977.
