Earl B. Meek
PRESTON, IDAHO--Funeral services for Earl Bishop Meek, 27, Preston, who died Thursday at 4 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital of burns suffered Sunday in an industrial accident at Soda Springs, Idaho, will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Preston First LDS Ward Chapel.
Friends may call at the Webb Mortuary, Preston, Friday evening and Saturday prior to services. Burial will be in the Riverdale Cemetery.
Mr. Meek was an employe of Monsanto Co. at Soda Springs where he was working at the time of the accident.
Mr. Meek was born Jan. 25, 1940, Preston, to Benjamin A. and Grace Bishop Meek. He married Patricia Telford Sept. 11, 1963, in the Logan LDS Temple.
A graduate of Preston High School, Mr. Meek had attended Utah State University and served an LDS mission to Denmark. Former Idaho National Guardsman.
Survivors include his widow; daughters, Ginger, Kirsten, parents; brothers, sisters, Ariel W., Wilford B., Mrs. Jean Marie Smith, all Preston; Arthur B.; Los Angeles; Mrs. Lucy M. Larson, St. Anthony; Richard B., Norwalk, Calif.
