Cecil was born August 22, 1919, in Independence to Cecil Sr. and Hazel Doubenmier. Cecil had retired from Hallmark Cards, Liberty Facility, and was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army.
Cecil is survived by his wife of 66 years, Hattie Doubenmier; children, Cecil G. Doubenmier of Keytesville, Mo., Penny Webb of Orrick, Mo., Retha K. Whitney of Liberty, Mo., and Jacob F. Doubenmier of Independence; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Phyllis Finn of Raytown, Mo.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, Independence, (816) 252-7900. Interment will be in Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence.
