T.V. HOLSINGER DIES OF WOUNDS
Native Of Timberville Funeral Friday Near New Hope
Thomas Vernon Holslngsr. aged 54, of near Timberville, died yesterday morning at 7 o'clock at Rockingham Memorial Hospital from a self-inflicted bullet wound suffered Monday morning at 8 o'clock.
Mr. Holsinger, who had been making his home with his nephew, C. A. Holsinger of New Hope, for the past several weeks, was found Monday morning with the bullet wound in his head.
He was rushed to Rockingham Memorial Hospital, where his condition grew steadily worse until the end yesterday.
Mr. Holsinger was born at Timberville and was a son of the late John and Susan Holsinger.
For a number of years he was employed as a cook at Shenandoah College and at one time at Madison College.
Besides his wife, Mrs. Ida Bean Holsinger, he is survived by one brother, R. B. Holsinger, of near Timberville.
Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1 o'clock from the C. A. Holsinger home near New Hope.
Services will be conducted by Rev. Floyd Fulk, assisted by Rev. Samuel A. Harley.
Burial will be in the Linville Creek Cemetery at 3 o'clock.
