Ethel Marie Davidson, 83, Neosho, died Thursday, February 17, 2011, at her home, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 9, 1927, in Peoria, Oklahoma, to James Harry Cole and Maggie Winifret (Minser) Cole.
Mrs. Davidson moved to Neosho in 1960.
She and her husband, Don, owned and operated the Dairy Mart, from 1970 - 1975. She then worked as head cook at Crowder College, retiring in 1986. She has been a member of Calvary Baptist Church, for nearly 50 years.
Ethel and Donald Dean Davidson were married February 8, 1947, in Columbus, Kansas. Don survives.
Additional survivors include two sons and daughters-in-law, Rick and Mary Davidson, Joplin, MO, and Bob and Karen Davidson, Liberty, MO; six grandchildren, Richard (Jennifer) Davidson, Brandon (Kate) Davidson, Jenny Davidson and fiancé, Chris Becker, Drew Davidson, Tyler Davidson, and Ashley Davidson; three great-grandchildren, Kyndall Davidson, and Chase and Brayden Davidson; and numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
