Colleen Foster, 71, 1999 of Hico, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, at Hamilton General Hospital.

Services were Thursday, Feb. 4, at Rutledge Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Schibler officiating. Burial was in the Black Family Cemetery.

Mrs. Foster was born Oct. 8, 1927, in Ovilla. She was a retired personnel clerk with the Army/Air Force Exchange and had lived in Hico for 12 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Duncanville.

Survivors include her husband, John T. (DeeDi) Foster of Hico; two daughters, Sherry Foster of Coleman and Terry Foster of Houston; a son, David Foster of Gun Barrel City; a sister, Roberta Carrell of Ovilla; three brothers, James McElroy of Grand Prairie, Randall McElroy of Ovilla and Hubert McElroy of Dallas; two grandsons, Denis Foster and Jeremy Foster; a great-grandchild, Drew Foster; two stepsons, Roger Foster and Tim Foster; and four step-daughters, Linda Hopton Jones, Judy Killough, Cynthia Duffey and Tracy Harper.
